I copied my W10 system to an eternal SSD attached via USB3 with Wintousb.
Booting it from USB3 device Windows is much faster / snappier than from the internal standard HDD.
Since I have a few spare SSD's I was wondering what's the disadvantage of permanently attching this USB3 device (have enough USB3 ports) and then using the built in HDD (3TB) as data storage. I think Windows...

Dell 9200 running slow
I have a *Dimension 9200 Intel Dual core CPU 6600 2.4 GHz*
Service TAG 58XXR2J .. though had HDD changes, dropped RAID and increased RAM to 4 GB
Since upgrading to W10 the PC has become painfully slow ..... gives these timings as a clue.
Press start - Dell splash screen then, goes black and around 2 min before login screen arrives

Website content in browsers is screwed up after installing fonts
In a preliminary step for some design work I'm embarking on, I installed a large group of fonts onto my computer. I'd downloaded these from a variety of sites over time. The installation involved about 25 new font groups, some that have up to 20 fonts within.

yesterday win 10 presented me with a photo album that I don't want
Yesterday Windows 10 presented me with a photo album that consisted of images that are on my hard drive.
#1 I don't want that happening
#2 it feels a bit creepy that my computer does things with my data without permission
I believe this has happened once before and I couldn't find any post on here about it so I assume I didn't address it. Is there a way to turn that feature off?

I have a problem with Yahoo emails on W10PC - OK on W10Laptop & Tablet
I believe I have encountered a website that did something to my PC as I copied information the initial part copied was shown blue then I encountered a red section. Action taken since to no avail:
1, Deleted the copied information. presumed protected by MS Defender, and my Paid for AVG internet protection.

USB Problem
I use a USB connected drive for File History and have done so for at least the past 2 years.
Today W10 advised me that there was a problem with the drive and suggested a repair was needed. I clicked on the repair link and waited......and waited.... and waited. Checking Task Manager it did not seem that anything was happening.

Installing Windows 10 BUT was told that it will not connect to SMB1.x Share which i have running on one of my servers. Hi all,
I have a bootable Windows 10 USB flash drive that Ive created. I have a couple of questions that Im curious about.
1. If I select the USB flash drive in Diskpart and then type in Detail Disk. There is an option listed there..."Boot Disk" and in my case it says "No". If my flash drive is bootable Windows 10 media created with the Media Creation Tool shouldn't that say "Yes"?..or in this...

Errored UUP Downloads

I recently purchased an HP laptop that came with a pen stylus with which I can write on th screen directly into applications
How come this stylus does not work with my other (older) HP laptop or Lenovo laptop that has the windows 10 (updated) with windows ink workspace?

Seeking help with moving Windows when new SSD arrives...
Can I get some basic guidance (bullet point would be ideal) on something. I have Windows on a traditional hard drive and just ordered a SSD. The goal is to move/clone the existing hard drive to the SSD and use the existing for storage. Will pay for software if totally necessary but surely there's a free and adequate method?

WiFi very slow while Internet speed is fast
I have 3 Windows 10 machines, including one laptop/tablet. I can get Internet download speeds of 63 mbps and upload speeds of 11 mbps on my laptop using a 802.11N connection with a DLink DIR-842 router. The router's specs are AC1200 Speeds (up to 300Mbps on 2.4GHz and 867Mbps on 5GHz) with Gigabit ports.
