I have had to disable the update server on my Windows 10 laptop because of limited data allowance. This was easy to do thanks to the Forum tutorials, but it will not stay disabled - within a day or two it's "Running" again. Is there a way I can keep the update server disabled until I CHOOSE to enable it ?

VLC&Shadowplay fullscreen problem / MPClassic file association problem
*VLC player seems to trigger NVIDIA Shadowplay to think I'm gaming when I go to fullscreen video.* This messes up the VLC UI bar and otherwise is problematic as well. Used to be they worked fine together, dunno what happened.

I have been using an older version of CCleaner

After updating Win 10 ver 1809 to build 17763.168, I was told that the old version of CClener will no longer work and I have to update to current version.

Why doesn't this program start up at Windows Launch?
I need to get this program, Retrospect, which is a backup program, to start up automaticly when Windows boots up. So I followed suggestsions I found doing a search.
Here is the ProgramData folder for Retrospect:

Win10 updates stuck on "fix issues" - low drive space
I just got an HP Stream back from HP, with a replacement warranty MB. They gave me the 1703 edition of Win10, so there's been a lot of updating. After a bunch of it, the machine is now up to the 1803 base.
The unit has only a 32GB eMMC, with some 28 usable, so it began getting tight as the updates continued. So I did a disk cleanup and I uninstalled MS Office, which alone runs well over 1 GB....
