Memory Question
Hello all. I recently upgraded my Memory from 8 to 16 Gigs. same make. model and vendor, i have noticed that i only have 7.9 Gigs Usable. but on boot up and in control panel ,system i am able to see 16 Gigs , am i missing something here ?

For the second time in a row after an update my start button and taskbar have stopped working. I downloaded a batch file from a forum site the last time and it worked, so i used it again. My system is now working again. As this appears to be an issue that Microsoft cannot resolve I am now going to turn off automatic updates as a precaution as this is extremely annoying.

Cortana and desktop wallpapers stopped working
The Cortana button shows up on the task bar, but when I click on it to access the "Run" feature (Which should have stayed in the Start Menu), nothing happens. The window doesn't open anymore. This just started happening a few weeks ago.

Desktop Problems (But Fixes After Reboot!)
Hi all,
I'm new to this forum so apologies if this doesn't make sense!!
I've recently upgraded my Windows 10 to the new 1511 version and after a while I've noticed a few issues with my desktop in that all the icons disappear when it boots up and also my Dropbox doesn't connect either. I go into the actual Desktop folder and notice that all of my icons have disappeared from there as well....

Is there a way to completely remove Cortana? I disabled it, but it keeps running in the background.
I did find some suggestions to remove it, but it also removes the search and causes problems to other stuff.
So is there a working way by now to do that?

BSOD with Driver_Power_State_Failure after waking from sleep

BSOD while using Sonar Artist. Event Viewer 1001 and 18
I posted this on Sevenforums because i totally forgot I was using 10 but here's kind of a repost haha.
I was in the middle of using Cakewalk Sonar Artist and the computer randomly BSOD. It a pretty memory and CPU heavy program but I'm curious what happened.
I've had a few crashes as of lately. One I believe to be a bad GPU but now I saw ID: 18 which says something about my CPU.
